Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 21, 2026
Our Commitment
TrustWizz is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Accessibility Features
Keyboard Navigation
Our entire platform can be navigated using only a keyboard. Tab through elements, use Enter to activate, and Escape to close modals.
Screen Reader Support
We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels to ensure screen readers can accurately convey content and interactive elements.
Responsive Design
Our platform adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels, supporting up to 200% browser zoom without loss of functionality.
Visual Alternatives
All meaningful images have alternative text descriptions. Videos include captions and transcripts where applicable.
Focus Indicators
Clear focus indicators help keyboard users track their position on the page. Focus is never trapped in any component.
Plain Language
We write in clear, plain language and provide explanations for technical terms and abbreviations.
Measures We Take
TrustWizz takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility as part of our mission statement
- Include accessibility throughout our internal policies
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff
- Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities
- Use formal accessibility quality assurance methods
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
TrustWizz is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we are actively working to address these areas.
Our most recent internal accessibility audit was conducted in December 2025. We plan to commission an independent, third-party audit in 2026 and will publish the results on this page.
Areas of Non-Conformance
We have identified the following WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria where we are working towards full conformance:
- 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum): Some text elements may not meet the minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio in all colour themes
- 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast: Certain interactive UI components and graphical elements may not meet the 3:1 contrast requirement
- 2.4.6 Headings and Labels: Some dynamically generated pages may have incomplete heading hierarchies
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value: Some custom interactive components may not fully expose their state to assistive technologies
Accessibility Roadmap
We are committed to continuous improvement. Our planned accessibility milestones include:
- Q1 2026: Resolve all identified contrast ratio issues across light and dark themes
- Q2 2026: Complete ARIA labelling for all custom interactive components and chart elements
- Q3 2026: Commission and complete independent third-party accessibility audit
- Q4 2026: Address all findings from the third-party audit and target full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance
- Ongoing: Integrate automated accessibility testing into our continuous integration pipeline
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of TrustWizz may have accessibility limitations:
- Some older user-generated content may lack proper alternative text
- Certain complex interactive charts may not be fully screen-reader accessible
- Some third-party embedded content may not meet all accessibility standards
We are working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback on any accessibility issues you encounter.
Third-Party Content
TrustWizz integrates certain third-party services and content, including payment processing widgets, customer support chat, and embedded media. While we select partners who share our commitment to accessibility, we cannot guarantee that all third-party content meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
We actively work with our partners to improve the accessibility of integrated services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier in any third-party content on our platform, please report it to us and we will work with the relevant provider to address the issue.
User-generated content, including reviews, business descriptions, and uploaded images, may not always meet accessibility standards. We encourage users to provide descriptive text and follow plain language principles when submitting content.
